I guess you could say I’m like the “Rainman of Cupcakes”. It might be the only thing I’m really, really good at. At least that’s the way I see it. Trust me, I’m a bad poet.
I can whip up cupcakes that could make the fight over the “last “hot” Christmas gift in the store” fight look like a playground diss. I work on my secret recipes from several weeks to several years to perfect them into exquisite perfection. Who cares…that’s not what this site is about. Okay, right onto the crust of the cupcake.
For years I have dreamed of, dreamed up and baked up some of the most delicious combinations of cupcakes in the secret sanctuary of my kitchen laboratory. My trusty Kitchenaide mixer is hidden behind my reusable shopping bags deep under the sink…I have this paranoid notion it will be stolen. It’s my trusted companion in the combination of culinary cupcake “God particles” that render: the melt-in-your- mouth magic born of inspiration and love.
In the vault, deep within a hidden fortified location these recipes have never been published, shared or leaked. In fact, if offered $1 million dollars, I would not sell a single recipe. I do, and will continue to make them for a limit of 3 special events or celebrations per year… events booked far in advance.
However, I do not have the patience to decorate the cupcakes in all the beautiful creative ways that other do…so you might say that I have a bit of a cupcake decorating envy. You will find the majority of the videos and photos on this site are on cupcake decorating. I’m a huge fan of beautiful cupcake decorating…and I leave that to others. I can frost pretty cupcakes, but all that fondant creativity…well, those of you who do it – have the patience of a saint! I can only say – now that’s art!
The purpose of Cupcakeaholic.com is to share with you the pictures and videos of incredibly inspirational cupcakes that look too pretty to eat. It’s my personal inspiration index where I file only the good worthwhile cupcake videos and pictures – and I want you to enjoy it too!
